My reflection about this subject is I learned how to analyze the poem of Emily Dickinson which is the “Death” and I recognize the importance of the guidelines in reading poetry that you should be concentrate and be careful on what you read. I learned about Japanese Literature and African Literature, Japanese Literature has been influenced by Chinese Literature and it was divided into 4 periods. African Literature reflects the history of its people. Negritude movement is originally a literary and ideological movement of French- speaking black intellectuals. I learned also about Gender Criticism, Gender Criticism examines the influence of gender on the way literature that written and read. Some gender critics look at works by men and women to see what approaches in these works. It means that gender criticism interprets how an author’s gender influences their writing. The Gender Criticism created on 1950-1060s era, several women’s rights movements began. Some of the examples of gender criticism are the poem of Emily Dickinson.

Math Reflection

I’ve come to realize that math is fun even if it’s not my best subject. I can always enjoy doing math, but it’s hard for me to enjoy other subjects the same way. This is not the only reason why I enjoy math so much. In subjects such as English, you learn a rule, for example, you add “s” to make things plural, but there are some words that adding an “s” just doesn’t suffice. For the word “church” you must add an extra “before the “s” so that it would sound better. These things don’t exist in math. Math is full of “rules” that don’t have exceptions. It’s something that’s reliable and useful. I’ve learned that without math, life would be a cycle of events without reason. And also one of the best thing in Statistics and Probability is our teacher. She helped us learned things and enjoy math.

Science Reflection

In my opinion, Physical Science really change the world and it also have a great influence to our daily life. With the high technology that offer us in today's world, we can have more free time to do what we want. What I learned about our Physical Science is about the Reflection of light, theories, astronomers and the origin of the universe. Sir Alex introduced to us the different theories of astronomers about the universe which is very helpful, giving us a background and overview on our planet. I realized that Science has a massive impact towards our daily life and I am thankful that I have also learned in this subject.

E tech Reflection

Among all our subject E-tech is one of the most helpful and realistic subject for me. E-tech introduced us the Empowerment of Technology that is very helpful to our society and relevant to our other subjects. This subject thought us that we should embrace change and be innovative to stay different and trendy. Doing blogs, PowerPoint, webs and other stuffs we do. It’s very important especially some of my classmates don’t know how to do it. This subject just make it easier for the future and trains us to be more creative and imaginative.

21^st Century LPW

This is my favorite subject. I’ve learned a lot from this. Figures of speech, Literature of different countries and Types of Criticism was introduced to us. Some of the topics aren’t new to me but it is good to recall those topics. We were taught how to understand and read the poem in the right way. I realized that we should have always knowledge towards our country and to others too. I enjoyed performing speech choir and literature acts.

Research

One of the most essential subject that we have as a senior high school student. We have learned what is qualitative and quantative research which is very helpful when we through a college life. Giving us some information and methods that can help in making a good and presentable research paper. I am thankful we have this subject.

Without this subject it would be useless. What’s a TVL without their specialization? I have learned A LOT of techniques and information about this subject. It is very helpful to us especially we are taking NCII. I am very thankful for Sir Lem and Sir Escueta for their patience and their hardwork. Their patience to understand and teaching even though we are not good enough and nosy. But they continue and support us for our betterment. So much respect for them.
